I’m Nelson S. Betancourt, a researcher in global governance and international relations specialist with a legal background. Originally from Venezuela and currently based in Switzerland, I’ve directed my academic path toward studying the role of international law in the protection of human rights, multilateral diplomacy, and the institutional mechanisms that shape international action in the face of humanitarian crises. My experience supported by solid academic training and a deep human commitment is aimed at contributing meaningful proposals to improve the international system through transformations aligned with global justice and the reinforcement of democratic principles. I am currently participating in the Global Undergraduate Awards 2025, presenting an original and innovative research project in the field of global governance.
